Modesto's baseball teams boast two 500-homer club members: Reggie Jackson and Mark McGwire; four on the major league "All Century Team: Jackson, McGwire, Joe Morgan and Rickey Henderson; five Hall of Fame members: Morgan, Jackson, Rollie Fingers, Sparky Anderson and Tony LaRussa; six MVPs: Morgan, Jackson, Fingers, Henderson, Jose Canseco and Jason Giambi; and one Cy Young Award Winner: Fingers.
